Foot Locker moved from a decentralized knowledge-sharing to a modern intranet, providing connected access to the company information to the workforce, including frontline workers.
This was made by collecting input from all the locations in which the company is active, to improve the intranet´s design, knowledge management and sharing capabilities. For that, it was key to include not only technical aspects but also business ones, to understand what the organization needed.
Once digital collaboration tools were available to desk workers, it was also pivotal to ensure access to the frontline workers.
