The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit company that operates multiple federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). We provide innovative, practical solutions for some of our nation's most critical challenges in healthcare, cybersecurity, aviation, homeland security, the judiciary, defense and intelligence.
As a director in this knowledge-intensive organization, I lead a shared service IT group of 200 computer and information science professionals responsible for “arming the enterprise knowledge worker”. I am accountable for developing the strategy and delivering on a broad portfolio of enterprise capabilities including: application development, knowledge management tools, analytic services, endpoint provisioning/management services, and collaboration enabling solutions.
Working with our business stakeholders, my organization’s initiatives seek to advance MITRE’s ability to engage with customers, visualize our operational and skills inventory data, engage our employees with tools that support and accelerate their ability to work together and transition services to platforms based on cost or capability advantage.
