WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE YOUR PEERS SESSION?
Challenge Your Peers sessions are designed to allow you to exchange ideas on a common topic with your peers. Here you have the chance to ask your questions, debate the answers and create a crowd-sourced, collaborative mind-map of the most interesting topic ideas.
With topics directly generated from the conference participants, this is the time and place to get your questions answered.
PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE
- In the run-up to the conference, we will test the main topics / “challenges” of the event in the form of a survey
- With reference to the compiled topics, we are designing a cluster, targeting main questions and problems from within the industry into different categories.
- In this line, we develop customised round tables for your Challenge Your Peers Session that are pointing at certain needs of specific groups.
- For preparation, the moderators will meet up with the head of the event at the hospitality desk on the morning break of the first conference day.
HOW IS IT ORGANISED?
- Based on previously identified main topic-focus, several round table subjects are offered.
- Participants choose the round table of their liking.
- The topics and subtopics / challenges are displayed as a mindmap at a white board
- The conversation can start now. The moderator encourages the participants to share their opinion/view on the topic at hand and the other participants can react with their personal experiences, innovations & ideas – the discussion starts.
- With the help of a pin board, flipchart, papers, pens, markers and a mind-map, the ideas, questions, opinions of the participants should be gathered and graphically displayed at the mindmap.
- The participants can develop now an innovation path / several innovation paths.
- After 60 mins the participants should have a better idea of the topic, its challenges, solutions and potential.
- All CYP session material and outcomes on the boards are photographed and published in the we.CONECT Media Center and in our Event App hubs.
